Our Story

CACAU, Baby Basics was born in August 2021 from the ideas of a mother combined with the talent of a grandmother. The goal was to create quality pieces, suitable for the baby's needs, with a current and modern aesthetic sense, moving away from the childish concept. It was so difficult during my pregnancy to find prints and colors that I liked that I decided to move forward with this project and offer this possibility to all expectant mothers.

The design is created and adapted according to the real needs of daily life and the experience of motherhood. All pieces are delicately handmade, and the materials are carefully chosen to ensure the highest quality and durability.

Since its inception, CACAU has evolved, recruited external help, and currently has some pieces available for immediate shipping. However, many of the pieces maintain the concept of adaptability and personalization and are handmade to order, making each piece unique and special.  

Our mission is to allow each mother to experience motherhood to the fullest and to romanticize it while respecting her aesthetic sense and taste, ensuring, at the same time, that she has the best for her baby.
